Dear Valued Customers,

Please note that The George Town, Exuma Council has decided as expressed by the Port Controller and Mr. Deputy Chief Councilor, is that no containers or commercial items are to be left on the dock in George Town, regardless if there is uncollected freight at the vessel’s departure time.

Therefore, effective May 25th, 2023, all Bahamas Ferries containers or uncollected commercial items will be returned to Nassau  upon the vessel’s departure.

Please note that freight distribution in Exuma will be as follows:

• Tuesdays & Thursdays – 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Any freight that is uncollected and returned to Nassau will be shipped to Exuma by request of the customer only. Additional shipping cost will apply.
